The Abbi Agency is proud to announce a number of new hires, promotions and positional changes in preparation for a year of continued growth. These additions and changes pertain primarily to the firm’s social media and public relations teams, and will help us to maintain the best in client services.

Kelly Benson and Adam Leinen Join the Public Relations Department

Kelly Benson joins The Abbi Agency as a new junior account executive. Benson will offer both strategic and hands-on support to a range of agency accounts, beginning with work on several of the firm’s travel-oriented and B2B clients. Benson comes to The Abbi Agency with seven years of experience in public relations, marketing management, and content strategy.

Adam Leinen, a recent cum laude graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno’s business management and marketing programs, has been promoted from his role as an intern. Leinen will now serve as an account coordinator on The Abbi Agency’s public relations team, and will act as hands-on account support across a range of client verticals. In addition to this, Leinen will assist in directing CANFEST, the annual canned-beer festival executed by the Agency.

A. J. Miller Joins the Social Media Department

A.J. Miller joins The Abbi Agency’s social media department, where he will act as the social content curator. In this role, Miller will work collaboratively with clients to align their social media “voice,” content and engagements with overarching business goals. Prior to his recruitment at The Abbi Agency, Miller built a decade-long career in broadcast radio, where he most recently served as the morning show host and director of promotions at 106.3 POP FM.

The Abbi Agency Establishes a Dedicated Client Strategy Team

In addition to new hires, The Abbi Agency has announced the establishment of a dedicated client strategy division, which will assist the agency in securing a significant share of market voice on the national level.

This team will be headed up by Allegra Demerjian, formerly the agency’s digital director, who oversaw the execution of digital and social campaigns for the firm. Demerjian will now manage fully-integrated national accounts as well as execute business development functions in on an agency-wide basis.

Demerjian is joined by Evynn McFalls as the media content creator, who will provide data-driven insights and in-depth research to the public relations team to guide outreach efforts. In addition to research, McFalls will develop content marketing strategy and collateral in cooperation with Demerjian and other executive leaders, as well as manage the Abbi Agency’s internal business-to-business brand and expert insights blog, Uncommon Ideas.

The Abbi Agency is set to continue its growth in the coming year, and has already begun recruiting a new class of interns to train across teams in preparation for further business expansion.
